Salman Khan-Starrer Kick's First Poster is Dark and Edgy

Salman Khan-Starrer Kick's First Poster
Salman Khan's Eid release-Kick's first poster is a complete departure in the superstar's other films. Yes, it doesn't have his face onto it.
All blue and dark, the poster has only just an eye-mask hinting that Kick won't be the usual Salman Khan-style gala affair.

Apparently the very first look, which was originally scheduled for end of June or first week of July release, has been unveiled now. The very first look of the film will be launched on June 15, 2014 said Sajid Nadiadwala.

This impressive poster increases the rumours that Salman is playing a grey role in the movie. Infact, Salman's character within the film is named 'devil', also starring Jacqueline Fernandes, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

All of the small budget films which made big in the box office will have to leave way for the massive budget movies now. Kick starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda in lead roles might find Sajid turning director for the first time. This will be Nadiadwala's debut film like a director.

Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala told a tabloid, "He may be the devil incarnate. His character is grey and edgy, the goatee he sports is a pepper and salt mix. You've never seen him play a personality like this before."

Well, we're looking forward to Salman's 'grey and edgy' avatar.

The show based on the same name as 2009 Telugu movie might find Salman Khan 's Eid release after his Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan who has given Eid releases earlier sticks towards the same Eid funda even for this film. This past year, Shahrukh Khan released his Chennai Express on Eid which year it's Sallu bhai's Kick.

Salman Khan Upcoming Movie Dabangg 2, Full Review

Dabangg 2 is an Indian masala film directed, written and made by Arbaaz Khan. It stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha inside the lead roles, with Prakash Raj playing the function of the main antagonist. Additionally, it's Vinod Khanna, Deepak Dobriyal and Nikitan Dheer in supporting roles. It's a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg which is set in the city of Kanpur.

During pre-production, Arbaaz Khan confirmed the project: “Yes, there's a 110% possibility that we will start Dabangg 2, however when that

may happen is yet undecided. See, Salman is loaded with lots of commitments to fulfill, so Dabangg 2 will need some time to start. But it’s definitely round the cards. “The main leads, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha were cast to reprise their parts inside the sequel. Sinha became the first actress to reprise her role in the sequel of a Bollywood film. Her main look appeared to be taken from the first and consisted of a yellow saree, a long plait with flowers in her hair. Director Abhinav Kashyap was substituted with Arbaaz Khan because the film’s director. Prakash Raj was confirmed to own been chosen to play the main villain. Kareena Kapoor was roped in to play an item number in the film, despite initial reports considering Katrina Kaif for your role.

Dabangg 2 is obviously a different film but comparison while using original Dabangg is inevitable.
The type of ‘Robin hood’ Pandey was introduced in the first part. The type of a quirky bad ass cop with an above average heart was gradually revealed along with other characters, taking the story forward and making Dabangg a very interesting and entertaining film. Since we know him, all things have to move one step further. The way the makers do it, isn’t very clear from this trailer. They’ve promised that it'll have ‘more’ of all things. Does which means that it’s going to be repetitive? Might be. Does which means that it’s not going to be interesting? Certainly not.

Dabangg had got the whole mix perfect. Achieving the same goes with the Part 2 without overdoing anything, is a great challenge. If things go just a little off balance, everything will start looking artificial or far-fetched.
Whenever we talk about just the look, the first Dabangg had a uniform brownish tinted look achieved with probably a peculiar, special lighting. That exact look is missing at certain points inside the Dabangg 2 trailer. The reason could probably be the original DOP unavailable for the film. However the look is certainly not inconsistent.

The experience that people saw in the original was earthy yet stylish. That style seems to be somewhat missing in the trailer. It seems more violent than stylish. Much more about the lines of Singham than Dabangg.

The songs and choreography in original Dabangg were popular options that come with the film. From that which you see in the trailer, the choreography also doesn’t appear to be belonging to the same style. A frame or two even look chaotic.

Thankfully, the writer of the original Dabangg, Mr Dilip Shukla is writing the sequel too. So, a great consistency around the story and also the script part should be expected.

The best part of the trailer - and that’s unquestionably Salman Khan. One of the most convincing, the most consistent and assuring much of this trailer has to be Salman Khan. He has effortlessly continued from the first part with no gap or drop whatsoever. The type that was supposed to be grey was a hero because of the way Salman Khan played it. The charismatic actor seems to be in the same form and that’s great news for your fans.

From this trailer, it’s unclear whether Chulbul continues a bigger mission or he’s coping with the local goons yet again. With family matters resolved and Rajjo being won over, additionally, it remains to be seen what provides the emotional edge to the further episodes in Chulbul Pandey’s life.
